Sreynith, Program Manager of WESTEAM Cambodia, leads a youth-driven non-profit focused on providing inclusive STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) education to underserved Cambodian youth. Having experienced a lack of opportunities growing up, she is committed to closing the digital divide in rural Cambodia, where most students lack access to basic technology. Over the next three years, WESTEAM aims to bring hands-on STEAM education to 5 rural schools, impacting over 500 students by equipping classrooms and training 25 local teachers. The organization is seeking $25,000 in funding to launch this initiative and help transform education into a pathway for equity, justice, and opportunity.
